4th Annual OE Bass Tournament - Olson Engineering

This year’s company fishing tournament was held on February 28, 2021. A chilly foggy morning turned into a perfect afternoon.

The fish were found both shallow and deep, and most teams caught the bulk of their legal bass in the latter part of the day.

We saw an increase in attendance this year, with a total of 30 teams (6 more than last year). Of those teams, 8 weighed in a limit. The 69 fish weighed in yielded a total weight of 134lbs. (The fish overall were smaller than last year’s 65 fish at 140lbs total.)

The biggest fish (4.82lbs) was weighed in by the team of Eugene Crocker (OE employee) and partner Clayton Harrell. The smallest fish weighed in also warranted a prize that went to the team of OE employees Sean Russell and Kayla Boyett.

Official standings:

1st Place: Eugene Crocker, Clayton Harrell–5 fish @ 16.3lbs
2nd Place: Mark Ratcliff, Drue Ratcliff–5 fish @ 13.06lbs
3rd Place was a tie!
- Beau Blackwell, Brandon Gremillion–5 fish @ 11.97lbs
- LaRee Bossier, Logan O’Dell–5 fish @ 11.97lbs

This was the second tournament for both Eugene Crocker and LaRee Bossier to bring home some cash.

It was a great day for family and friends, and all are looking forward to next year’s tournament.
